Wang Image Viewer is installed by Windows when you do a typical install.  If you do not have this free TIF image viewer installed, here is how to install it from Windows (make sure you have your Windows installation CD).

1. Click Start

2. Move your mouse over Settings and click Control Panel

3. Double click Add/Remove Programs and choose Windows Setup

4. Scroll to Accessories and click once to highlight.  Now click Details.

5. Scroll down to Imaging and make sure it has a check mark.

6. Click OK and OK again.

Reboot your PC

In some cases Wang Image Viewer is no longer your default TIF viewer.  Follow these instructions to fix this in Windows.

1. RIGHT Click Start and left click Explore

2. Now click View and then Options.

3. Click File Types and scroll down to TIF Image Document.

4. Click TIF Image Document and click Edit

5. Click open and then click Edit

6. Click Browse and go to "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\ImageVue\wangimg.exe"

7. Double click wangimg.exe

8. Click OK, OK and again OK

Reboot your PC

We have noticed that sometimes it takes a reinstall of your Browser to associate Wang Image Viewer with TIF files after following the above procedures.
