Assisting With Your Case

Back to CSE

As the custodial parent, you are our most important source of information on your case. You will often know of changes in the non-custodial parent's situation before we do and it is important that you keep us informed, preferably in writing.

Information necessary for processing your case includes the full name of the non-custodial parent, as well as his or her social security number, date of birth, address, phone number and employer. Additionally, we need the children's birth certificates, particularly if they were born out of state, and copies of any divorce orders or orders for support, if applicable.

It is very important that you keep a current address on file with us as well as a daytime phone number, if available. You must also notify us if your child no longer lives with you. Remember, you are a vital partner in the processing of your case and we need your assistance.
