When the Clerk's Office must make purchases
of items over $500.00 in value, those purchases become
the responsibility of the Purchasing Department. It
is the mission of the Purchasing Department to procure
government goods and services at the most economical
prices. By evaluating competitive pricing, the Purchasing
Department does its best to ensure that the taxpayers'
money is being put to the most efficient and effective
use by selecting items with the best prices available.
The Purchasing Department embraces a policy of maximum
competition. All vendors are given the opportunity
to compete in the Clerk's purchasing process.
